State logs 5,755 cases and 150 deaths; 19 districts report fewer than 100 infections every; 4,29,001 folks inoculated
5 western districts, together with Chennai, accounted for 45% of the contemporary COVID-19 cases reported in Tamil Nadu on Friday. The State logged 5,755 cases and 150 deaths, taking the tally to 24,55,332 and toll to 32,051.
Chennai reported fewer deaths than three districts — Coimbatore, Vellore and Tiruppur. There have been 11 deaths within the metropolis, whereas 26 folks died in Coimbatore, 16 in Vellore and 13 in Tiruppur.
