For the previous few years, Nigerian artist Arinze Stanley (previously) has been on the forefront of hyperrealism along with his highly effective and typically surreal portraits which might be arresting in dimension and emotion, which he discusses in a new interview supported by Colossal Members. His charcoal-and-graphite works are rendered in beautiful element and bear broader political messages, significantly in relation to state-sanctioned violence and his personal experiences affected by police and navy brutality.
